I'd expect the Grip Kings are less grippy than some of the sneaker
pedals with pointy or squared-off pegs on them (i only have the GK
pedals). The GK's strength is sheer surface area; they aren't grippy
in a foot-shredding way, and will slip a bit in the wet/snow but not
as much as the MKS Touring. I find the GK support ideal for soft-soled
shoes like Chuck Taylors or Chaco sandals, especially with my large
feet.
