Hey, Jim -- I also was out yesterday, and even thought I passed you over by the Sausalito mud. I turned around to chase you down, but it was not you (Although, whoever was riding that gorgeous Hilson n/b from Sausalito toward Mill Valley around 3:45 Sunday, wel, great looking bike). Anyway, I started from Novato (the in-laws) out San Marin, around Nicasio Reservoir, back via Cross Marin to Fairfax, etc, then home to SF. 58 miles total. Graet day. I also stopped at SPT for a snack. Wish we had crossed paths.
By the way, I was on my Romulus. My Atlantis is still in a barn at my in-laws farm in Guthrie, Oklahoma. I left it there after riding the Western-Express/Trans-Am from SF to Wichita, then south to Guthrie. I flew home from there to return to the job. We left on May 17, and I reached the farm on June 30. My two companions are still on the Trans-Am. They are in Virginia today, and nearly done. I'll pick up the Atlantis this October when we do our annual in-law visit in our small motor home. Hope your hand is healing well. Be sure to read sections 22515 thru 22517 Cal Veh. Code. Those are the sections used to cite dooring violators, dependng on circumstances.
