My wife and I own a DaVinci Joint Venture tandem that has DaVinci cranks. The crank arms are beautifully made high-polished aluminum. Everything DaVinci-designed on our tandem functions perfectly. Give Todd at DaVinci a call (he'll likely be the one who answers the phone anyway). He designed the cranks and always seems happy to talk about his bikes and parts designs.
