I've acquired 1990 (I think) MB6 that is forest green in almost mint
condition. At some point it's been retrofitted with some skinny cross
tires and a some road type seat.

I feel like a cat thats just eaten a canary. Already I'm looking to
retrofit with Alba bars and a B-135.

Happy Accident,
I had a second bar added to a 1 1/8 inch headset under the pretense
(experiment?) of being able to carry around grocery bags. Well this
worked out great for a few months
until a can got lodged between the wheel and fork. Gravity
asserted itself and over the handlebars I went with the front wheel
lock up.

I've sort of wondered in the past about cautionary tales of
carrying around bags this way. In short I've leaned my lesson without
a scratch. Although it did losen up the headset a bit. I could'nt have
asked for a happier accident.

About that B-135, has anyone had any problems with the seat sandwhich
or problems with bolt slippage with double rail saddles?
