If you use a 10mm headset spacer as a bell mount, I highly recommend one of these:
www.velo-orange.com/spbemo.html I put originally put on one of their old designs, but it was so thin that the 2 1/2 threads got worn out by road vibrations. This new, improved bell spacer is great. You'll still new a couple of thin washers on either side of the bell spring to prevent buzzing and "autoding" (a term I think I coined a few weeks ago...), but it's an elegant piece of hardware; nice finish. It's the same diameter as the other headset spacers this time, too! Check it out.
