I've got a Big Loafer on a Nitto Top Rack on the Atlantis. I've found that I can cram more stuff in it than I expected when I got it. Typically I carry a light wind/rain shell type jacket, a cable lock, a small repair pump, a basic tool kit, a couple of spare tubes (still in the box), and a cap. All of that stuff fits with room for a bit more. I've also used it to commute Fridays when I can get away with wearing a t-shirt and a pair of shorts. I just take out the lock (I can park my bike in my office), roll the clothes up tightly and stuff 'em in there.
I was one of the ones that sort of scoffed at the tweed bags when RBW introduced them. Then I ended up getting a blue tweed Big Loafer off of eBay because it was exactly the size I was looking for and it doesn't have all of the external pockets and stuff. Since getting it, the aesthetics have grown on me and now I really like the bag a lot.
