Define "heavy Riv".

I do doubles and brevets on mine. I tend to use a minimalist approach, using a
Camelback that has cords to tie stuff down if I need to lash clothes and stuff
to it. On longer rides, I'll also use a banana bag with toe straps lace through
those lash points on the top of the "lid". This allows me to tie down more
stuff there-jackets, vests, etc.

At any rate, my 63cm Riv is probably around 23-34 pounds normally and maybe
25-26 pounds with the banana bag and some extra stuff. These are guesses, since
I've never really weighed them.

I'm 42 so do I count as old? Or am I just a know-nothing whippersnapper?

All of you riders who do double centuries and brevets (on heavy Rivs): how old
are you?
