I just took a snowy, rainy spin around the neighborhood. It feels light and fast...not heavy at all. The Karate Monkey puts you into a more aggressive riding position, and doesn't feel as "light," for lack of a better word.
I really don't think it's a very heavy bike, either. It's probably as heavy as the Karate Monkey, but it rides like a road bike. Love the thumbshifters, too.
