Under additional categories of interest, I suggest Racks'n'Sacks. Rackage and luggage seem to get a fair amount of attention and interest, and cost serious money. While Riv, VO, etc., all sell stuff, when I try to compare items it's a bit difficult. Having experienced users comment on the pros and cons of ease of installation, fit to a particular bike, luggage user friendliness, etc, would be useful. Links to:

Somewhere I remember stumbling onto a photo site devoted to racks and luggage that had good visuals about how stuff looked in the bike. dougP -----Original Message----- From: rbw-owners-bunch@googlegroups.com [mailto:rbw-owners-bu...@googlegroups.com] On Behalf Of Bryan @ Renaissance Bicycles Sent: Wednesday, April 01, 2009 7:03 AM To: RBW Owners Bunch Subject: [RBW] Online Rivendell-ish Resources Hey All, I would like a little help putting together a little online guide. This guide will highlight some of the best Internet resources available to cyclists interested in Rivendells, Waterfords, classic lugged steel bikes, etc. It is aimed more at the recreational (like randoneurs and touring) rather than competitive cyclist. Here is a quick start to the list, mainly based on where I spend my time online: * Online Specialty Retailers: -- Rivendell Bicycle Works: www.rivbike.com -- Velo Orange: www.velo-orange.com -- Harris Cyclery: www.sheldonbrown.com/harris -- Renaissance Bicycles: www.RenaissanceBicycles.com (yes, I am biased) -- more ... * Online Communities: -- RBW Owners Bunch: http://groups.google.com/group/rbw-owners-bunch -- Cyclofiend's Bicycle Photo Gallery: www.cyclofiend.com -- more ... * Online Information and Resources: -- Sheldon Brown's Technical Bicycle Information: www.sheldonbrown.com -- Classic Rendezvous: www.classicrendezvous.com -- Adventure Cycling Association: www.adventurecycling.org -- ? EcoVelo: ecovelo.info -- more ... * More Categories ... This is not meant to be an exhaustive compilation, but more of a "Best Of" list. I envisioned a handful of entries under each category. Please feel free to comment and contribute ... Where do you go for your daily dose of Bike Love?
