I, too, would be interested in a rivendell tandem. I suppose for
sufficient amounts of money you could convince rbw to build a custom
tandem. Bilenky showed off a custom lugged tandem at nahbs this year.
It was rather stunning. I know a couple of custom builders that have
said they are game to try building a tandem if a customer comes along
who is willing to experiment a bit.

I've only been riding a tandem for a few years now and we love it. No
getting separated. No long, boring, uphills all by yourself. Our
tandem is fairly friendly but I'd be completely pleased with a tandem
built like an atlantis or an AHH. Stout, capable of taking bigger
tires and unlikely to abuse the riders.
