Bummer.........I haven't worked much since November 2008 and I am self
employed with no unemployment insurance. I held on to my bikes ( so
far) and use them all the time to get around. I took the insurance off
the cars and am selling a couple of them first ( I own four) but they
are old. It absolutely stinks loosing an income and its scary to think
I could lose my home of 25 years. I sincerely hope you are not in
danger of that scenario. You can always buy another Rivendell that's
for sure and if you have others that are not as easy to sell then you
are making a wise decision. Good luck on the search for new work.
Maybe it will turn out to be the best thing that ever happened to you.
Stay positive, somebody out there has the money to buy your bike.
