I've been itching to trade handlebar set-ups back and forth between the Quickbeam (Noodles) and the Protovelo (Albatross, bar-end shifters), and am trying to come up with a creative way to do so. I have shellac and cloth on both bikes, and I suppose I could just cut off the tape and cables, but I'm wondering if there is a solution that would keep things relatively intact. Both bikes have cantilever brakes, with the Protovelo stopped by Ribbits and the Q'beam sporting Shimano cantis. I wonder if it would help to have Ribbits on both bikes?
Adam A explained his strategy on Flickr (two h'bar set up on his excellent Pelican): http://www.flickr.com/photos/aalpern/3266460949/ I'd love to hear creative strategies for how folks switch between bars. Usually, once I have things just right, I'm unlikely to change them...maybe I just need to do some destruction and reconstruction every time I want to change things. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "RBW Owners Bunch" group.
