Gino - I don't have a bike set up at present to take the Hetres, but do run the Cypres Green on my fendered winter fixed gear. I didn't have such great luck with the first set of Cypres I had. A number of flats deflated my confidence in them. I did remember the quality of the ride though, and purchased another set into which I immediatley installed the flat-away strips from Panaracer. I've got about 1000 miles on them now without any flats. I couldn't tell if the second batch was any different from the first, which was the original batch to hit the states.
So if it's true the Hetre was built beefier than the Cypres I'd worry less about flatting. Happy trails.
