maybe, but there are other options, which are actually more versatile. the cross-check, casserole and old lugged steel road bikes come to mind - these can all be very comfortable, fit fat tires and fenders, accept racks and be converted back to geared rides if one had the notion. no doubt the QB is wonderful - it's a smart, sweet looking bike.
