You know how it is, you are on a ride with your 650B bike, and you are darn careful that you've got that spare tube, and, on the more remote rides, a spare tire, as well as a patch kit and tire pump.
Someone in your group gets a flat. No prob. They get that second flat, and you have nothing to offer but support :-) Or, as a riding buddy says: "we don't serve your kind". (Yes, this goes both ways, which is why I'm such a Girl Scout about Being Prepared) So, I was out with friends yesterday, and lo and behold, one of them came up with a flat. She'd forgotten to toss in a spare tube. She had 26" wheels. Other friend also had 26" wheels, but Schraeder valves. Third friend had 700C tires (but nice fat ones), so she was no help at all. ... Oh, here, you can use my spare! For that matter she used my pump as well; as the CO2 inflator was uncooperative.
