I'm the #600 JimD. The Silver brakes (actual, real-McCoys) were a straight-forward bolt- on on my Romulus. I had to move the pads pretty high up in the slots but everything works fine. Note my Romulus is the side-pull brake model not a Canti-Rom.
The Tektro widemouth brakes would be what I would choose if I were starting over. I suspect the widemouths would look a bit better with the pads more evenly located in the slots.
