In Frank Berto's "The Dancing Chain", he mentions that he "became unpopular
with the Campagnolo fraternity" by reporting that the SunTour VGT  (at that
time $10) shifted better than the Rally.

It seems to be at best damned by faint praise by those who have chosen to
comment upon it.  The 1974 version was supposed to be similar to the Shimano
Titlist.  There was also a Rally 3550 touring derailleur which used the
upper body of the Nuovo Gran Sport and cage/parallelogram of the earlier
model. Not reviewed well by Berto, certainly.
