Doug, I'm 6'0" and 152 lbs. I do not replace handlebars, The Nitto bars on my Rambouillet are 10+/- years old, have been through 4 seasons of cyclocross and about 5+ years on the road.
One of the gentlmen I ride with, "James", is many inches and many pounds more than I (and much stronger too). He seems to break frames in 6-12 months. If I were James I would be replacing my handlbears.
