Thinking of cross bikes used in mountain areas, is Kirk Pacenti still planning to do a mini-knobby 650b tire? Would this be an option for 650b cyclocross-ish setups on canti/v brake dedicated frames that don't allow for clearance of larger tires? I thought the Bombadil had plenty of room for large tires, however, it fits the quasi and not the neo, is that correct? Is width the problem? What are the largest size tires the Hilborne and the Bombadil can accep, based on actually mounting them (not just going by the Riv charts)? Schwalbe has a few big non-knobbies, any chance they are planning on making a Big Apple 650b?
