Okay, now you folks are making me really jealous. Am not going to be out to the San Diego area until August, though. Even then, the bike I have won't be true Rivendellian. Merely a Brompton.
I know the real reason Jim wants to get out there and ride - this winter is miserable in the Twin Cities. Roads are ice and snow covered. If you don't slide on ice, you slide on "oatmeal" a slushy snow pack that makes controlling a bicycle near impossible. And we have three months more to enjoy.
