Hi, It seems your choice of brake will affect the the width of tire the bike can accept. If you get tektro R538 brakes (or the big mouth at Riv), the bike might be able to take up to 32mm. I run SKS P45s (the box section of the P35s can be a limiting factor) and can run up to pasela 32mm pretty tightly.
