To all, The best "Don't do it" I heard so far is mixing Shimano crank with Campy drivetrain.
I am doing it because Campy does not make 165mm road cranks, I wish they would, I will pay for it, I asked every year to their sales people in US and email to Italy. Well, so far not a response. Another good one is don't mix 9s chain rings with 10s. I personally know a few folks using 10s Ergo, 10s campy rd with shimano 9s cassette, it works. I myself used 9s erog, 9s campy rd on shimano 9s cassette (because CAMPY does not make anything but 130mm) Don't let others tell you otherwise.
