Hey all,

In addition to replacing the Noodles with Albatross bars on my
Atlantis, I want to also throw a sprung Brooks saddle on there. I
tried a B.67 on a long mixed terrain ride recently, and was amazed by
the comfort over some rough roads and single track. Not ideal, but
way easier on my body than the B.17 over the same route. I'm looking
for something to take the edge off on long rides over rough terrain
(forest service roads, single track, loaded and unloaded), without
being too bouncy. In addition to touring, I use the Atlantis for
commuting, ale and grocery runs, and general gettin' 'round.

I've come across a few good reviews of various Brooks online. The
most comprehensive being Lee Watkins treatise over at
http://dutchbikeseattle.com/weblog/?p=65. He got me thinking a lot
about the B.135 -- http://www.wallbike.com/b135.html

So, I'd love to hear about your experiences. Part of me thinks the B.
135 is overkill, but the other part of me still remembers the beatdown
I received on the dirt roads of Baja last winter.

Thanks,
-Jay
