This may come too late for your handlebar switch, but my experience may help. I own two 60cm Quickbeams, one with a 9cm Nitto Technomic Deluxe stem and Nitto 46cm Noodle bars, and the other with a 12cm Nitto Technomic Deluxe stem and Nitto Albatross bars (the wide aluminum ones). I find that the fit on both is perfect for me. The Albatross bar requires a longer stem because it extends back further than the Noodle, and because it sets higher--which effectively shortens the reach (because of the headtube angling back towards you). I also found that the Albatross-bared QB was better with a Brooks B72 rather than the B17 as on the Noodle-bared one. BTW, the stem height is set about the same on both but the Albatross bars are higher because of the bar geometry.
