Actually, the dryer was fine, and was donated to Habitat for Humanity. It was the washer that died. Still, it's amazing how quickly this thread went down the clothesline path :P
I have had a couple of people contact me about Romulus frames; their asking price is well within my budget (even after the expense of a set of Bigmouth 57's and a pair of Ruffy Tuffy's is figured in)...so unless someone has a Rambouillet or AHH frame out there for a killer price, I think i've found what I need.
