Hi David, a simple:
make && make install should work (as root, or with sudo). It just copies the ratmenu binary in /usr/bin. However, there is no auto-generation of menus. You'll have to create the menu files yourself. You can look in this tarball for some examples: https://download.salixos.org/x86_64/14.0/source/l/user-settings-ratpoison/user-settings-ratpoison.tar.gz you can copy the files under the menu-basic or menu-full directory to your ~/.ratmenu directory. You can edit those to your liking. There is also a .ratpoisonrc in there under the skel directory that shows how to call those menus. It's basically something like this: bind r exec ~/.ratmenu/main.sh Regards, George On Tue, Apr 6, 2021 at 9:27 PM D.J.J.
