I totally agree. As we discussed during the PR, sticking to the available 
Bootstrap classes was the cleanest technical path for now, even if it meant the 
icons aren't a 1:1 match with the sidebar SVGs. Forcing that match would've 
required either a messy CSS override or a larger refactor that didn't feel 
right at the time.

Since the remaining work is really about nailing the design metaphors (like 
finding a better fit than the "Play/Stop" icons), it definitely makes sense to 
track that separately.

I'll go ahead and open those new issues now to keep this organized, and then we 
can close this one out.
