Hm, I suppose that’s fair. The counterargument would be that we don’t really 
want people to be gaming the map, making their home location jump around so 
that they can discover more users’ locations. If you haven’t set your home 
location yet, then the prompt is fine. But if you have, I think it’d be 
sufficient to just add “Update home location” to the list of links under the 
“Other nearby users” heading.

The other issue you’re highlighting is that the default zoom level (raster z11, 
vector z10) may be insufficient to see anything other than your home location. 
The map could automatically zoom out a bit to show at least some of the other 
users’ markers.
