Hi @pablobm,
Since my recent PR was the catalyst for this (😅), I’d love to handle this doc
update. It only makes sense that I help clarify the parts I found confusing!
I’ll send over a PR shortly that updates `CONTRIBUTING.md` to explicitly cover:
1. The requirement to squash fixup commits for a cleaner history.
2. The recommendation to use feature branches instead of working directly on
`master`.
Working on it now.
