I think @iandees has already addressed the outstanding visual feedback (see
resolved review comments).
The only thing that might be debatable from a user standpoint would be the
removal of Wikidata previews from history pages to keep the row-spanning key
cell from getting mangled. If we think that’s a problem, it might be possible
(if annoying) to split the key cell in half when showing the preview. Or the
preview could occupy only the right-hand column on the history page. That said,
the preview remains on version pages, so no information is actually lost, just
slightly less convenient.
