Well I feel like I am asking people that admit to speaking different
languages to accept a different coordinate system with a built in
directions and a built in metric scale. I am just asking it to be an
option, like French or English is an option.
I would think that would be obvious, or perhaps looking at mostly
computerized maps has given people the view that search and rescue can't
be done with a paper map?
I know printing out an Open Street Map probably isn't done very often so I
guess making it more useful to some people who like to know where North is
and the scale of the map isn't that important.
I only did computerized mapping for over 20 years for a local government.
What would I know?
But don't take my word for it.
