Hi Julia,
This is from a mail I sent to the list based on my
own "experience"
============================================================
The following info is just in case anyone else has trouble with installing DBI/DBD-Oracle on Redhat Linux 7.2 . Note that you must use the "static linking" option to install DBD-Oracle or else, you won't be able to get radiator to authenticate via the module against an Oracle DB. You will see a reference to the errors that you get (after using the default dynamic linking option in the Readme.help file that comes with the DBD-Oracle-1.12.tar.gz
file) and how to
do the static linking under the "For platforms which require static linking." section. ======================================================
"The same would probably apply to the DBD::Sybase module"
