The manual is correct. AuthBy NT can only work with PAP authentication, as
Radiator requires the clear-text password to be able to do the encryption which
is then compared to the users encrypted password in NT.
Because the CHAP password is a one-way encryption, it is not possible to get
from it to the NT encrypted password.
The only workaround is to use PAP.
