Thank you very much for all your input.
As it turned out, I had to make a temporary Radmin installation and execute
the radmin script (installPostgresql.sh) on the SQL server machine. I
thought the tables in the sql database could be created from the Radmin
host.
My next step is to get them all to talk now. I'm certain I'll have more
follow-on questions.
