I was hoping to find that a way around the /etc/shadow issue already
existed, since that was in our original config that Hugh/Mike reviewed.
I don't mean that as a complaint; I'm amazed at the way they keep up
with all of the questions on the list. :-)

What you're suggesting sounds like exactly what we need, as well.  Is
this something that's under development?
