i'm not sure how "recent" the latest majordomo is... i'm maintaining a list
that has a digest version too. sometimes majordomo feels a bit ancient to me
though... you have to do everything by sending email commands :( I don't how
the majordomo archiving works... but if you have an online archive, you want it
to be searchable of course...
there are sites that offer automatic archiving of your list for free
i think (mostly for technical related lists)
