I was wondering what I should do if DrRacket freezes in the background. So far, I've had this problem on both the 7.7 and 7.5 versions of the program. Details: DrRacket freezes in the background when left open for an extended period of time. The program is frozen permanently and doesn't close through the taskbar — closing it through Task Manager does not resolve the issue. Once the program is reopened, it stays frozen. Restarting my computer also doesn't work. DrRacket remains frozen after restarting my computer. Additional details: During this frozen period of time, DrRacket doesn't seem to consume CPU or Memory. Specs: I am running a 64bit HP Pavilion laptop with the latest Windows 10 update (May 10, 2020). The version of DrRacket that I am using is the normal one, not the [CS] one. Reproduction: Leave DrRacket running in the background. Sometimes it takes 30 minutes, other times it takes 1 hour or more. Once you go back to DrRacket, click the definitions area and it is frozen, and doesn't respond to any clicks or typing. I don't know if this problem is device specific or not, but I appreciate any help that I can get.
