Dear Jussi, don’t get me wrong. I very much appreciate your effort,
and I understand the allure of pop art. I also understand that posters
such as this move from politics to art .. but it bothers me to see Che
Guevara (a notorious killer), the Soviet star (ignoring Stalin’s ~35
million victims), Mao (uncountable and worse) honored in this indirect
way. No Obama doesn’t belong to this class of ruthless killers, but I’d
prefer it if PLT separated itself from all politics.

Of course, nothing prevents you from putting up this poster at a
public place and pointing to PLT and Racket and our web sites.
As long as it is associated with you and distinctly says this art
is your tribute to our creations, I won’t object.

Sorry — Matthias
