I think my problem is I cannot find an executable "installer". There are
several Racket packets that I have opened entitled Installer, ran them
within Racket, but no result. Sorry I must seem like a real newb despite
using compys for 30 years now.

* On Windows, you just run the new installer and it will suggest
uninstalling the previous version.
* On a Mac you should remove the old version's folder and drag the new
one instead.
* On linux, if you're using our installers then they should also
suggest removing an older version.
