I am pleased to announce that Peter’s suggestion worked! I just downloaded and installed the R-4.0.0 (Patched) from the Mac nightly builds site and now R.app is version 1.73 and the rev is 7883. The command ‘demo()’ worked just fine. Thank you very much!
