Dear all, We are pleased to announce the online course: Generalised Additive Models in R Dates: 8–11 December Course website: [ https://www.physalia-courses.org/courses-workshops/gams-in-r/ ]( https://www.physalia-courses.org/courses-workshops/gams-in-r/ ) This four-day training will introduce participants to Generalised Additive Models (GAMs), a flexible extension of GLMs that allows the relationships between covariates and responses to be learned directly from the data using splines. The course combines lectures, discussions and hands-on exercises to provide both the theoretical background and the practical tools needed to fit, interpret and visualise GAMs in R using the mgcv and gratia packages.
