This is a frequent source of errors. Somewhere in your manual there is a unicode 2010 hyphen "‐" ( https://www.compart.com/fr/unicode/U+2010 ) instead of plain ASCII hyphen "-". They look pretty similar, don't they? May be you did some copy/paste from e.g. a pdf file and thus got this character in your texts. Supposing that it is not so critical for your documentation to have U+2010 char, you can replace it by a hyphen from your keyboard.
