I uploaded a package to win-builder to run a CHECK and it seems to be having some issues with the oldrelease build failing due to some interaction with the `stringi` package. Not sure exactly what's causing the issue, but I also recently found the same namespace errors on a recent oldrelease CHECK of ggplot2:
