files before resubmitting my package. They are back.
| Question #1 How do I prevent this this?

1. (Optional) Delete them. Write a script named cleanup with executable mode
with calls rm on them. The each build will remove them in its cleanup phase.

2. Add them to .Rbuildignore. See Writing R Extensions for details.
