In the past, I have been using various rsync scripts for synchronizing, but just realized that I could upload the contents of my .Rprofile to google docs (to maintain a single copy with revision history), and then having each of my local .Rprofiles source the url. (Haven't tried it). Does anybody have any experience with this issue? I'm sure one could write some external code for .First and .Last to load/save their Rhistory/Rdata to the cloud, for example using the google api. Thoughts?
