Hi, I have installed the necessary tools for making a R package under windows and am sure these tool have been correctly configured. I am very new to try writing a package, so the error may be very obvious for you. Forgive me if it is too easy. My package name is *stam*, and i put it under the folder "D:/StatSoft/R/MyPackage/". I have two folders,*R* and *man*. Besides, i also have *description* and *namespace** *files. It is a very simple beta package.
The DESCRIPTION and NAMESPACE files should be specified in upper case, but that's probably not your problem. I would guess you have a command that says to load a shared library, e.g. a useDynLib statement in your NAMESPACE, or a library.dynam in a .First() function. Just delete it, without compiled code (which would be kept in the src directory) you don't need it.
