Dear R users,
I am trying to use Rmpi in a Windows XP box to parallelize some
simulations. Ultimately I would like to setup a small cluster of Win XP
machines, but as a first step I only use one computer.
Unfortunately Rgui crashes as soon as I call the function
mpi.spawn.Rslaves() .
Configuration:
- R version 2.9.0 patched (2009-05-28 r48680)
- Rmpi 0.5-5 windows binaries.
- MPICH2-1.1 for Windows
Any directions ?
