I'm wondering is it in accordance with the law, taking into account GNU GPL on which R is based, that SPSS have adds-on module that allow you to do a analysis in R. I mean commercial software use R. I guess that nobody can create R-GUI (e.g. in JAVA) on commercial rules (licensing, pricing, selling with close source code).
