Nope, HTML. You need to set your email client to send in plain text. Do an internet search on how to do this, e.g. with "How to send plain text email for <<your email client here>>". Also see "?download.packages" for how to get packages from an R package repository (though RStudio and no doubt other IDE's have an interface through which to do this).
