weibulltools is a package that focuses on statistical methods and visualizations that are often used in reliability engineering. The core idea is to provide a compact and easily accessible set of methods and visualization tools that make the examination and adjustment as well as the analysis and interpretation of field and bench test data as simple as possible. Compared to previous releases (<= 1.0.1), the new version (2.0.0) includes a data-based interface through which the obtained function outputs can be easily passed into subsequent methods and visualizations. Furthermore, all visualizations that were generated dynamically with 'plotly', can now also be created statically with the support of 'ggplot2'. The previously used vector-based approach has been largely preserved but is no longer recommended.
